Kids Weekly Chore Chart

We are tracked out! My boys attend a year-round school. No big summer break. Every NINE weeks, they are off for THREE weeks. Unfortunately, our boys are not a fan of camps. They are home with me, every day, while I work πŸ™ƒ.

This kinda drove me nuts at first, but I love the idea of them being able to sleep in, have slow mornings, and just chill. It makes going back to school so much more exciting for them (bc they are bored out of their minds 🀣 PS: I’m a big fan of kids being bored. It forces them to take initiative and entertain themselves. It rarely works but I’ll keep encouraging it)

I want them to have down time while they’re on break … but not TOO much, so I always have tasks for them to complete before they can veg. You know I love a good list, and I created a fresh one for 2023! They must complete every task, every day, in order to earn their β€œwant to do’s” (which usually involves a screen or a friend).
