Why We Workout From Home

One of the biggest pulls of barreALLEY is that you can take it from anywhere. I’m pretty sure I was one of, if not the first virtual barre studio to exist. During COVID, this was an essential when gyms were closed and we were forced to quarantine at home. But now, after the pandemic, the need for at home workouts is still VERY real. Light equipment exercises are considered more functional, using more muscles and joints at a time, engaging balance, and mimicking everyday activities. Light equipment that is used in bA workouts like bosu balls, small yoga balls, ankle/hand weights, or bands can all be stored at home for easy use. OR try our “no equipment, just commitment” program where you can find all of our equipment free classes. Trust me, you will FEEL these workouts. When you are holding and pulsing these small body weight movements it will sneak up on you. Just as effective as a weighted workout, but the best part is it’s truly as hard as you make it. You can personalize any workout to your fitness level. I will give you modifications with most exercises during our workout to make it harder or easier. This is your workout, I am just your guide.

The community we have is incredible. Even though we aren’t in person, we are strong!! Every barre babe will feel supported and I am always here to talk.
